Providing Relief to People with Kidney Disease

Thank you to everyone who joined us on this cause!

American Kidney Services (AKS) is an Atlanta-based charity that collects resources on behalf of those suffering from kidney disease. AKS collects donations of used clothing and household goods, sells them to thrift stores, and sends the proceeds to American Kidney Fund (AKF), one of the Top 3 charities in the country. AKS picks up your items FREE at your doorstep and leaves a tax receipt. Additionally, AKS has over 400 clothing donation bins throughout the Metro-Atlanta area to make donating easy!

MORE: Over 31 million people in the United States suffer from kidney disease. Dialysis takes 4 hours a day, 3 days a week just to stay alive. AKF helps pay insurance premiums, transportation to and from dialysis, and other expenses. Last year, through the generous donations by the local community, we were able to raise over $9 million.
